In 2022, Gregory travelled to Berlin as part of an Art Diplomacy Mission to work with Ukrainian refugee youth. He led three workshops for children aged 6–16, alongside their German schoolmates, and gave a keynote talk for Ukrainian mothers at a local church hall. At the close of the visit, this painting — created during the pandemic years — was gifted to the Berlin school as a permanent reminder that things do get better. It remains there today.
